After School Program Hours

Days: Monday through Friday.
Time: From 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

For a fee, student activities are available from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. At dismissal, students enrolled in the After School Program report to the cafeteria where they receive a snack and have the option of attending a break-out room to do homework. Students participate in an hour (3:30 - 4:30 p.m.) of different enrichment activities each day of the week. The second hour (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.) consists of free play or additional enrichment. Student activities end at 5:45 p.m. All students need to be picked up by 6:00 p.m.   Registration is through the Helms PTA at https://helmspta.org/about-us/after-school-program/

Before School Supervision Program Hours

Days: Monday through Friday.
Time: From 6:45-7:20 a.m.

For a monthly fee, parents may enroll their child in before-school care. Supervision will be conducted by the After School Program staff. Students enrolled in before school care will be allowed to enter Helms at 6:45 and remain there until 7:20 a.m., at which time they will report to their designated waiting area.
